Wish List Donations

This is one of the oldest and original Cataract Eye Projects in India, and it still goes on and we are about to expand to a new tribal area, wholly supported by donations of £20 an operation. It will take another 4 years to eradicate in this new adjoin area. Time is time and we must keep doing this needed support, mainly aged who suffer socially when ‘blind’ and unable to be part of the whole family work pattern in villages.EUR €23.40

It is a ‘Big’ gift in more ways than one. The reason why New Hope buys cows is to ensure that we know the milk yields and source. With more HIV orphan children coming and the high cost of milk, the aim is to increase the herd size at the New Hope Community Centres. Surplus milk can be sold as both milk and yogurt, the project becomes self sufficient.EUR €468.00

New Hope has 2 Vocational Training Centres. The older children and HIV Widows, who complete Non Formal Education see this training as a step towards self sufficiency out in the community at large.EUR €140.40

Disabled children who need prosthetics splints, crutches and special home made bicycles to enable them to move around more easily. Your gift would be very welcome.EUR €58.50

Your donation will help pay the nurses and cleaners who are an essential part of the Hospice. The Hospice provides end of life care to HIV/AIDS patients ensuring them comfort and dignity.EUR €58.50

Hepatitis B and C has become a problem. Through our immunisation programs our workforce and vulnerable adults and children are protected.EUR €29.25

Basic literacy, numeracy, health and hygiene are on the curriculum for our Tribal People. The women are also taught to run a savings and loans programme.EUR €29.25

Our love bundles are given out at Christmas time. Mostly to Leprosy colonies whom New Hope care for. Each love bundle includes a Bed Sheet, Towel, Sari (or Loongi for men) Sandals (made at New Hope by our Cobblers), Soap, Coconut Oil, Talcum Powder, all wrapped up with a big red bow.EUR €14.04

Each village is given a fully equipped First Aid box. A member of the village is trained in its use, and given the responsibility of giving out drugs as required. A vital part of treating infection in India is on the spot first aid.EUR €11.70

Your donation will assist in the purchase of essential medical equipment for nurses in the villages to attend to vital dressings and procedures carried out on mostly Leprosy patients but does included other form of medical care.EUR €11.70
